The smallest and most remote of the Zillertal Arena ski holiday resorts, Hochkrimml stands at the top of the Krimml toll road that winds its way spectacularly up from the valley floor past the stunning Krimml waterfall and to the high altitude valley that joins the Salzburg and Tirol parts of the Zillertal Arena ski region. The Hochkrimml resort is located on the lower slopes of the Hochkrimml ski area on a gently sloping mountain with superb views over the nearby reservoir and the open valleys to the east. Outside of the hotels and accommodation in Hochkrimml there aren’t a great deal of amenities on offer, these can be found down in Krimml or along the high altitude valley in Gerlos.
