Konigsleiten is the highest altitude ski holiday resort in the superb Zillertal Arena ski region. At 1600m and located just on the Salzburg side of the Tirol / Salzburg border, Konigsleiten is a wonderfully attractive and convenient resort and is something of a rarity in Austria in that it is a purpose built ski holiday resort. Chalets and small hotels are the main component of Konigsleiten and the fully ski-in, ski-out resort has ski trails winding through the resort as well as ski lifts above and below the resort. The few hotels in Konigsleiten also offer some terraces for late afternoon apres ski but Konigsleiten is generally relaxed and peaceful.
